A new species of cavernicolous gecarcinucid crab, Arachnothelphusa sarang , is described from a limestone cave in northern Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo. This increases the number of Arachnothelphusa species to six. It is the second member in the genus that is known to primarily occupy limestone caves, the other being A. rhadamanthysi Ng & Goh, 1987, from Gomantong in Sabah. Both species appear to be cavernicolous species with pale body colouration in life.

A new hippolytid shrimp species of the genus Hippolyte Leach, 1814, H. singaporensis n. sp., is described and illustrated based on dozens of specimens collected from sublittoral zones of Singapore. Morphologically, the new species is closely related to the Indo-Pacific species of the genus Hippolyte, but differs from them by the structure of the rostrum, the exopod of the third maxilliped, the dactylus of the last three pereiopods, and the position of the hepatic spine.

A new species of potamid freshwater crab, Indochinamon chuahuong, is described from Ha Noi, northern Vietnam. The new species can be distinguished from all other Indochinamon species by a suite of characters, including a carapace broader than long; an anterolateral margin that is convex and distinctly serrated; longer ambulatory legs than its congeners; and the terminal segment of the male first gonopod being curved outwards, with a very low dorsal flap
